Since opening in 1998, Grand Royale has defined the apex of casino hotel luxury in Las Vegas. Founded by hospitality visionary Sir Edward Carmichael on the principle that true luxury lies in anticipating desires before they are expressed, we have spent 27 years perfecting the art of the extraordinary.

Today, Grand Royale employs over 3,200 dedicated hospitality professionals, hosts more than 400,000 guests annually, and holds the distinction of being the only casino resort in Las Vegas to hold five-star ratings from Forbes Travel Guide, AAA, and Condé Nast simultaneously.

1998
Grand Opening
Grand Royale opens its doors under Sir Edward Carmichael, instantly redefining Las Vegas luxury with 640 rooms and a 60,000 sq ft casino.
2005
The Tower Expansion
A 54-story tower doubles capacity to 847 rooms. The Presidential Suite, Royale Spa, and Grand Theater open to international acclaim.
2012
Culinary Revolution
Chef Alain Beaumont joins as Executive Chef. Royal Steakhouse earns its first Michelin star within 18 months, followed by two more by 2015.
2018
Skyline Lounge Opens
The 52nd floor Skyline Lounge opens and immediately becomes Las Vegas's most sought-after bar reservation, earning "Best Bar in America" by GQ.
2025
Today
Grand Royale celebrates 27 years at the summit of Las Vegas luxury. A comprehensive renovation programme keeps every corner of the resort at the cutting edge of contemporary luxury design.
